I need to try to finish the back to school shopping. Once that's done I'll focus on my Christmas shopping.

Are your kids back in school?
The schools here started on Wednesday. Michelle had to start on Monday.
Now she's longing for Christmas break.

Sitting in the peace and quiet this morning waiting for my coffee to be done. The only thing missing is the soft glow of Christmas lights.

Sounds Christmas perfect (with the lights of course).

Anyone use the lighted glass blocks to decorate? I have some that are wrapped with ribbon to look like Christmas packages. I found one on etsy that I want that has a red Cardinal on it. I'm gonna get it in honor of my Mom.

We had some 20 years ago. (Boy, that makes me sound old)
Not sure where they are now. Probably in one of the Christmas totes in the attic we're saving for the kids.

I miss my Mom everyday. But it's almost unbearable at Christmas time.

I am wathcing/listening to A Royal Winter. The snow reminds me of Christmas.

It's really cloudy and cool this morning. It feels just like Fall. Which of course puts me in the mood for Christmas.

It's very cool here today also. At 11:00 it is cloudy and 76 degrees.
With the Christmas music playing in the living room, I'm in the mood also.

Off to my vision center for my last scheduled post-op exam on my right eye. They will be dilating both eyes and measuring them for an approximate diagnosis for glasses. I think it will be a few weeks before they order my prescription for either contacts or glasses. So I will be away for several hours and dilated eyes mean I cannot see well for more hours. Make it a great Friday my Christmas friends.

Left eye healed to 20/30 from 20/50!
Right eye healed to 20/20 from 20/25!

Next week new vehicle tires and renew drivers license!!Blessings to each of you for prayers!!

Since my sister drove me to eye appointment, we celebrated with lunch at Longmore Steak house. I ate a Bacon Cheeseburger and we split a slice of chocolate mouse cake. I am not checking my glucosr --
-- but salads/veggies all weekend.

Then we were across the street from Hobby Lobby!! I celebrated with 4 snowy word ornaments for the tree: peace, faith, rejoice and believe.

One joyous day!!!!!!!
