Thinking of my two boxes in the basement which never see the light of day. Oh what was I thinking???

Perky has eye surgery next tuesday. this is the follow up laser surgery on the eye they did last year. He doesn't want them to touch his "good eye" until this one has good vision. After my exam this past weekend, I can understand that. My "weak" eye is now the "good one"..........sigh. He also has a drs appt Nov 2, just a few days before we go to Texas. He will tell them he does not want to start any experimental treatment and be away if he has a reaction.

Michelle and I went to Walmart last Saturday for groceries and what did I see? They had 7 Christmas Trees up and lit, and one isle of Christmas decorations started.

Then on Sunday, we went to see my son at college for his birthday (23 now) and took him to the Walmart there to get him some groceries and what did I see? 20 Christmas Trees up and lit and isle after isle, inside and outside, either started or filled with Christmas items.
It was everywhere! I was so excited. We bought four of the 6 inch plastic ornament balls for the front porch decorations and a 6'-6" Christmas tree for the front porch as well. I can't wait to put it up.

I stopped by Wal-Mart last evening to pick up items only the supercomputer stock. Christmas was in several isles! I bought 2 of the lovely white flower clips and 3 white ornaments. A soft furry white owl, rustic tiny birdhouse with white tiny bird sitting on nest inside, and 2 Russian egg shaped eggs. Just $5 and excited to put them on my tree this year.

Whew, what a day. Registration meeting, got called a racists by a former facebook friend looking for trouble, and have another trying meeting this afternoon. Going to my Kris Kringle Radio Christmas happy place for a bit of Christmas chill.

Michelle's parents are coming for a visit next weekend. They called yesterday and said they were bringing our Christmas presents with them. That sounds like a good excuse to me to put up the Christmas Tree!
