It has slides for different holidays. Tonight she's trying it out with the Halloween slide. Then after Halloween we can switch it to Christmas. :pumpkin: :lights:

I hope everything turns out alright my Christmas friend.
Seems very odd to me that they would come back so soon.

Sorry I've been absent for a few days. Michelle and I went on a weekend getaway to the mountains this weekend. We had such a wonderful time together.
We also went to a couple of Fall Festivals. Tons of Christmas stuff everywhere.

Christmas News
The Christmas Tree that usually sits in front of the Alamo at Christmastime will be moving to Travis Park. San Antonio announced the change Friday. The plan is to turn Travis Park into a winter wonderland. The move will combine the tree lighting and the lighting of Travis Park... where a lot of new holiday activities are planned this year.

Jolly, have you ever been to the tree lighting at the Alamo?
What's your thoughts on this? Good thing or bad thing?

We had planned on going to the Christmas lighting on a previous trip. However, I was not feel well so we went to the hotel which was further away from the "action" than I thought. The new location is most likley the hole left by the confederate monument they just removed. My guess is the city is trying to appease those upset by promoting Christmas spirit. It is worth seeing, the parade is on tv (unless you are in a hotel on the river walk. That was an unwelcome Christmas suprise).

My Christmas mood has been waning for the last couple of weeks.
I think it's because the weather has been too much like summer weather. Well, the weather has finally changed here. We had a high of 86-87 yesterday and now today is forecasted to be a high of 75. In fact the highs for the entire week will range from 71 to 81 and lows of 45 to 61. I'm so ready to get the Christmas feeling again.

i think most people I know, including myself, feel like it is still summer.
Here we are 98F! It doesn't feel like a change in the weather at all. In a store Christmas items lift the spirit just for their reminder. But having to work at the Christmas Spirit is something we do all year on this board. Right? So we are all in this together. And eventually - we all keep saying - the weather will turn cooler. I am happy to read it is feeling like Autumn in your area Christmas Crazy.
