Saturday & Sunday there are new Christmas movies on Hallmark CHannel and Hallmark Mysteries & Movies! Does anyone get the new Hallmark Drama channel? I think some of my old time favorite Hallmark Hall of Fame Christmas movies are showing on that new channel. So far Directv doesn't respond to requests.

My sister and I are having a long lunch today followed by some Christmas shopping this afternoon. It is time to make our favorite rounds: Home Plae,
Hobby Lobby, Pier One, and yes Michaels. A perfect day for me!

So far it is a glorious weekend full of Christmas fun!

Yesterday, my sister and I went Christmas shopping for hours! Hobby Lobby had 50%
of Christmas items and we each bought several 'bags full' of goodies. I even found two lovely silvery grey pillows with crystal bling for all year long. Then we also shopped Home Place, Pier One, and then had a great lunch. She gave me a Murano glass angel from Venice Italy as a souvenir of her trip as my first Christmas gift of the season.

Today we are up north in the birch pine areas seeing the golden beauty across the hills and mountains. We are having lunch at an apple farm because we love the home made Autumn-like-Midwest menu. It is in the 70s!!!!

We will be starting home in a couple of hours and singing Christmas carols as we travel. Oh, the north is so much cooler, beautiful and clear that my heart is sad to leave it again. But my soul rejoices in this experience!
