Greetings Christmas Friends! We are so glad to be home. It was definitely a Thanksgiving to forget. My cousin broke her leg and had to have surgery the week we were there, in addition to us being sick in bed for the better part of a week. I was ready to come home 4 Days after we got there.........whew! Can't wait for Christmas and the Christmas Cruise, a real vacation. Trying to find some Christmas tunes to listen to while I Clean the litter box, fun fun fun!

Hubby asked for a Christmas mouse pad for work, so I ordered one for each of us along with some baking Shells we have been looking for for YEARS.

Jolly, so sorry your vacation was disappointing, but happy you are back posting at CAY for December. Our countdown is just over 3 weeks and it wouldn't be Christmas without you here.

My sister is coming to meet me for our first "Noel" lunch date this year.
We try out local restaurants known for great Christmas desserts! I am hungry already!

I am catching up slowly on Christmas posts. What a nice tradition. and nice that she lives Close enough to you to do this.

After work this week I will decorate the great room 6ft tree that sits on a game table. Then on the bedroom 3ft trees! When finished, I will hang the outdoor wreath and place the patio decorations. Then hot cocoa and Christmas cookies on Friday night with a Hallmark Christmas movie!

We took off to the Texas Hill Country to escape the family madness. I stayed up until 1 am watching The Christmas Train, Finding Father Christmas, and Engaging Father Christmas. I am assuming there will be Another follow up this year.

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. We did the annual Christmas tree excursion and found a lovely 8 foot tree... which now stand in our living room! We will let it settle tonight and I will put lights on it tomorrow. It was a fun-filled day with of course a little excitement as one of the gang locked their keys in the car at the Christmas tree farm. Unfortunately m, they had to wait for a while before AAA got there, but we all made the best of it by planning our Secret Santa gift exchange and our cookie decorating party (2 different days). I send much love and peace to everyone this evening!!
