Perky was sent home for work early sick. So are having a nice quiet evening in. May not get as much Christmas decorating done as I had hoped, as we had a tight weekend schdule, but we shall see.

Today we will be 19-22 degrees above normal at 79-82F! The normal is 67F. My home looks like Christmas but it feels like the start of November and autumn weather here.

Happy First Advent! There is not a Little bit of Christmas in each room now. We had our mini smörgåsbord for dinner. I am less enthused about returning to work tomorrow, but oh well, it must be done. I am sure time will fly by until our Christmas Cruise! Woohoo!

Kudos Jolly for decorating a little to add some Christmas cheer when you come home from work daily. And luxuriate in on weekends. I always tell myself 'the work is worth it for the ________'; so hope work passes cheerfully with Christmas music as you anticipate that great Christmas Cruise!!!

I hope all my Christmas friends had a wonderful and relaxing weekend! My wife is on a business trip this week, so it is up to me to decorate for Christmas. The struggle is real....NOT!!! I love it! The outside decorations went up this afternoon, I had a wonderful dinner and watched some football at my parents’ house and then came home and set up my village. It has expanded from just on top of the piano to include the mantle of the electric fireplace. I will string the lights on the tree tomorrow.
