Tonight for dessert my wife and I enjoyed one of my stocking stuffers from Christmas: a package of 2 GIANT peanut butter cups. These treats are huge and have Reese’s Pieces in them. Where have these been all my life?! Best stocking stuffer ever!!

My husband would agree with you. He loves Reece's, a rare treat here at the North Pole. We did not even find any on the Christmas cruise.

What about a family member in Texas mailing you some during cooler months there? A perfect dessert anytime -- but special at Christmas. Also you can probably order them online at Hershey?

actually in browsing recipes the peanut butter/chocolate combo probably did not originate with Reese's.......I think they are called Buckeye's in Indiana. Could be fun to make some for Christmas.

I thought they had already started. I saw Love on the Slopes, well it was on in the kitchen while I was cooking. ;-)
It looked too Christmas cute. I am thinking Ice Station Zebra and a James Bond shot in Switzerland, I forget the names, but there is an ice complex and skiing involved. It is easier to get Perky interested in non Hallamark movies. Those I watch on my own or when we are doing kitchen prep work for a first look. When we first got Netflix, I was thrilled to see some Hallmark movies there, but they NEVER change them........I would love to see even some previous winterfest movies. There was something about a winter prince I saw on YouTube. It was also too Christmas cute.

Merry Friday Christmas!

Jolly, my parents usually make chocolate covered peanut butter balls at Christmas, but didn’t this year. That Reese’s thing was a good substitute, but there is nothing quite like homemade.

Jolly, they are called Buckeyes in Ohio, where they originated. It is peanut butter fudge inside chocolate covering with a tiny drop of fudge circle on the top.
They are delicious BUT an entirely different taste than Reese's cups. Still, you can also make PB-Fudge too. :D

Yesterday it was 61F with some parts of town receiving rain! That counts as 'winter' here in the southwest. And today should be 64F before we rise back ot near 80F temperatures. I am doing my Christmas happy dance!!
