And the Countdown continues, although it feels far away, sharing it with Christmas friends brings joy to the heart.

This weekend I got to see my nephew play basketball. While there we talked about how fun it would be to have a Christmas sweater party in July since he and his parents didn’t get to come to ours in December because of the weather. It sounds like they are on board!

That sounds like a ton of Christmas fun!

I got a cordless LED work light for Christmas this year. It has been very handy when doing maintenance and repairs on all our cars.

My locker still has Christmas lights, ornaments, and pictures all over it too. I get razzed daily, but I don't mind -- just spreading more Christmas cheer!

Noel, that day spent with your sister sounds like a blast! Those desserts sound yummy as well. I think gelato can be an anytime of the year food... Fourth of July or Christmas!

Tonight I played basketball for the first time in a few weeks because of a bad knee. It was nice to get out there again! I think I need to ask Santa for a new knee brace as a late (or early) Christmas present. Finding fun and interesting ways to get I to better shape is sometimes a challenge, but I am setting up a boxing heavy bag in the basement. I am thinking some Christmas movies are in order during workouts. Time will fly while having fun!

When is your next cruise Jolly Christmas Elf?!

Feb. 9. We booked a "club members" price cruise for cheap. At first we did not book dinner but then decided to count it as "valentine's day" when we usually go out. So now we are having a buffet dinner, buffet breakfast, and then the bum café for the rest of the cruise. It is on the same ship as our Christmas cruise so we can still float on memories.

This Christmas Elf is absolutely swamped at work and with my conference advertising/promotion. But I wanted to make sure I stopped here and said hello to my favorite elves.
