I also bought a remote control candle set. It will look so good on my Thanksgiving table. I have a nice candle ring to dress it up for Christmas too.

New decorating items are such fun. The only issue is finding more storage space for Christmas new ones!

Noel, this has been a crazy week. We had a lockdown at the school I teach at because of a threat. We all got home safe, but it is a scary and anxious time in schools. I am happy to have my Christmas friends here!

Kiwi, what a relief that you are all safe! Better to be extra cautious than caught unprepared at schools. Hopefully our country will take new steps to protect all of you going forward! We are delighted you are our Christmas friend too!!!!

Like post Christmas sales, I have been searching high and low for half priced Valentines Day candy! Not much luck this year!

i noticed that last year, too. Even Walmart had pulled the candy overnight. Our supercenter's close from 12am-6am so now you can't find 1am bargains.
Oh, well, it is not like candy is on the food pyramid.

Apparently Google has decided that Christmas All Year is spam and I do not always see the notifications. They must have Grinches working there.

That was on the news last week -- the scope of control Google has over websites and their vast data mining of each individual in the world. It is a little scary to me to know everything we read, view, or write is stored in giant data warehouses.
And what could they have against Christmas web sites?!

It is a balmy 60F here for the third time this week! Our high will reach 72F. Sure hoping the forecast stays this way as long as possible because other than 2 days in January, this is our winter weather. Late for Christmas..........but early for Easter!

If anyone filters through my data they are going to be awfully bored.....like the Easter Bunny on Christmas.

CandyKane- if I were to redo the Christmas site (which I am thinking about) I would build it on Wix. It is easier to add pictures, videos, blogs, etc. plus, I like the way the sites look on it.
