I remember so many of the those old Christmas commercials. They brought back wonderful memories.

Yesterday we had some surprise visitors stop by for dinner. My college roommate and his daughter joined us for a St. Patrick’s Day evening dinner at a local pub. It was a great time with live Irish music (complete with bagpipes) beer, and great food! This evening I had corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, carrots (boiled dinner) and soda bread. To complete the Meal we enjoyed a Guinness as well. I hope my Christmas friends had a great weekend!

Kiwi, your celebration sounds great. We met friends and some family at a downtown Irish Pub for a grand meal. The boiled, the baked, and the poured. It was almost as happy as Christmas! :D
