My favorite memory - story -
One Christmas - Dad was in the USMC - I cracked my bedroom window to let in the crisp cold winter air, watch the snowflakes pile up on the window sill as Christmas lights reflected onto the snow. I was peeping out the window listening for Santa's voice, or reindeer paws, or Rudy's red nose glare but fell asleep. I awoke on the floor thinking I heard Santa's voice as he spread gifts under the tree. I don't remember sleeping a wink all night, but awoke my sibligs at 4am. I announced I heard Santa last night much to the giggles of my siblings and queried look on my Mother's face. Years later I learned it was two co-workers of my Dad at AT&T Engineering, who brought an assembled new bicycle for my Christmas gift. I cherish that memory to this day!

I love old Christmas memories and stories. Your story is one of the reasons why Christmas truly is the most wonderful time of the year.
