It was so nice to wake up in my own bed after 5 days of mini vacation. We had a great time. And I came home to a dvr with Hallmark Christmas movies. :snowjump:

How much we celebrate during Christmas in July week will depend upon the weather. I usually make all these wonderful plans and then it is too hot, even inside to carry them out. I will for sure watch some Christmas movies. Some "new" and some old favorites.

Your Christmas in July plans sounds wonderful! I hope you get to do them all. I came home from work yesterday to find Michelle watching a Christmas movie. Then she watched another Christmas movie with me during dinner. She's a bigger Elf than she'll ever admit.

Just love reading how my fellow Christmas Elfs have plans for Christmas in July!

Jolly: your cruise, followed by a week off, sounds perfect for Christmas in July.
Even in the states we change meal plans due to heat. We Elves are a determined and flexible bunch of Christmas joy!

CC: just love how Michelle is now watching Christmas movies in July. Just maybe her Elf ears are growing! Enjoy every moment.

CK: glad your mini-vacation was such fun. If you're like me a day of rest will rejuvenate the energy just in time to celebrate Christmas in July.

Woohoo! What are some of your Christmas in July plans? by Jolly.

We are doing each of these in no particular order so far because my plans are always re-arranged by Hubs or kiddos.

1. crafting gifts, decorations, stockings, etc for Operation Christmas Child by Samaritan's Purse and church Christmas trees

2. Ordering gifts from extra chore savings for the homeless and those at church who need a helping hand this holiday season.

3. Baking & freezing some Halloween goodies to be extra-prepared this season.

4. Eating a traditional Christmas in July meal for our household with pies & Christmas cookies for the 25th.

5. Watching Christmas movies.........and more Hallmark movies........and new Hallmark movies..........and?

6. Writing a Christmas in July journal - family style - for the first time as a keepsake for the kiddos when grown.

And of course singing Christmas carols at every spare moment! :smilecc:

What I would give for a cold day let alone a snowy one this summer!
Yesterday we reached 117F and today 115F with no end in sight this month. If artificial snow in pictures/videos/movies is all I can access then I am doing it to the max! :snowwow:
