Christmas in July undecorating now done. Listening to Charlie Pride Christmas songs on Youtube. I had no idea he did so many. The christmas elves have gone back to sleep, except Noelle, who has her own Little bag since she is going to the ice Hotel for Christmas in August. Perky is having a game weekend in the middle of august. I considered taking a single Cruise just to get into the air conditioning but that is the weekend Before we go to the Ice Hotel and I have chores which are no Christmas fun.

You have so many nice trips planned this summer. As for me, my Christmas in July decorations, wallpapers, signatures, etc., all stay up until August 1st.
But then I can only dream of visiting an Ice Hotel when it is so hot here. Enjoy.

Actually, I see now that they have pics of both the IceBar here in Stockholm and the Ice Hotel on the web. Nice to know if we go to the Ice Bar again and there is a Bachelor or birthday party with people blocking views to the art. The website is www.icehotel.com. Maybe it will make my Christmas friends feel a Little cooler.
We are not actually staying there, but just being "day visitors". Staying in an ice room is now on the bucket list though. This is just a scouting trip. Upon my return I have to go to a work Conference which is absolutely no Christmas fun at all.

Can you believe that the kids in the county I work in went back to school today! Way too soon. The kids in the county I live in go back this Wednesday.

I can't believe I forgot to share this with all my Christmas friends. My middle child, Austin, graduated college this past May and is now a middle school chorus teacher in the same county we live in. That means he can live at home while he saves up some money before strikes out on his own. God is so good. I also posted a video on FB of him playing piano and singing harmony with a young lady friend of ours last night at church. Have a blessed day!

That is way too early. Those kids should get out really early for summer. Or at least have an extra long Christmas break.

I so wish today was the first day of August. An old wives tale says for every fog in August we'll have a Winter snow. And we are covered with thick fog this morning. Oh how I hope it brings us some Christmas snow.
