We got some of your Christmas mood like weather this morning CandyKane.
It was foggy, but we were missing the cool part.

Just a quick update note: last night a storm system of dust storm, 74mph winds, flying debris, and .01 rain hit our area a little after 7pm. We lost power -- including AC at 104F -- for over 12 hours. The entire area -- 25 miles -- lost power. There was no place to go because all businesses closed. We lost all our food in the refrigerator and freezer but the worst part was the hot & humid house. Once the rain stopped there was not even a breeze to cool us down. The power was restored a little after 7am since then we've been cleaning up after it all. We are all nauseated, weak, and dehydrated despite drinking warm water bottles last night and need a cooling rest. Praying no more storms come tonight as the next 15 days we are predicted to be in same conditions. Sorry to miss you all today.

August 1, back to reality day and as Perky reminded me, his name day. It always sneaks up on me as it happens when we gear up for fall registration. Maybe we will have some Christmas coffee with a treat after dinner.
