What am I most looking forward to this year?? I love the Christmas get togethers and parties with extended family and friends, the church dinners, taking dd to her school music program and school party, her dance party, and her youth group parties. But I'm most looking forward to spending Christmas Eve and Day at home with my hubby and dd. Wearing Christmas pjs and opening Christmas Eve boxes. Snacks and Christmas movies all day long. That's what I'm most looking forward to.

I'm also looking forward to watching Charlie Brown, Frosty, the Grinch and all those other classic Christmas animated shows on network tv filled with commercials just like I did when I was a kid.

2017 was a year of loss for both sides of our family. Loss brings changes and new traditions. Christmas will never be just like it was. But that's ok. Here's to keeping old Christmas memories alive and starting new Christmas traditions.

Our weekend plans were cancelled because of the rain, so I guess we're rained in. I wish we were Christmas snowed in.
