Finally! It is 70F in my home and cooler outside. Again the weather prognosticators are saying we will have high 60's over the weekend. I no longer hold my breath on their forecasts.......but still it brings Christmas joy to my heart! :snowwow: :snowwow:

CandyKane an envelope from you arrived yesterday in the mail.
I will open it Friday night, after the tree is decorated. That is our custom. I am running late on my cards but should get to them next week. :wink:

I'm glad it's later in November next year. I didn't really care for it being so early in November. I know it kicks off Christmas a week earlier, but I really like when it's the end of the month. :cheer: joyelf

Merry Thursday Christmas! Today kicks off my first two Christmas (Advent) events of the year. We have an admin lunch at the restaurant where we will have our department julbord (trans. christmas table) and I at least am planning to order the jultallrike (christmas plate). It should be a small sample of what they will serve on the buffet for my department dinner. Then later today I have an Advent Mingle with my union. I am torn between wanting to do the Christmas cleaning this weekend and go to the First Advent events at church. I know I will feel guilty for not going to church, but come 23 December, I will be glad things are clean and organized. It is a Christmas dilemma. If I just didn't work...............or had a maid...........;-)

Christmas Dilemma sounds like a Hallmark movie title. LOL
