Merry Thursday Christmas! Today kicks off my first two Christmas (Advent) events of the year. We have an admin lunch at the restaurant where we will have our department julbord (trans. christmas table) and I at least am planning to order the jultallrike (christmas plate). It should be a small sample of what they will serve on the buffet for my department dinner. Then later today I have an Advent Mingle with my union. I am torn between wanting to do the Christmas cleaning this weekend and go to the First Advent events at church. I know I will feel guilty for not going to church, but come 23 December, I will be glad things are clean and organized. It is a Christmas dilemma. If I just didn't work...............or had a maid...........;-)

Or maybe one of their new paperback book series. We are all there Jolly:
priorities! Enjoy your Julbord without worrying and then just make the best choice this weekend. Here in America we usually have more than one service to choose from or more than one church to attend so that makes it easier. If there is another service at another church maybe that would help you feel at peace. Enjoy.

Several Christmas cards and packages were mailed yesterday late afternoon at the post office. Now........for to finish the remainder this weekend.

My sister is coming for lunch and we are going to decorate the small tree in the living room together. My main tree is in the great room. I just don't want to miss the opportunity to build more lifetime memories with her! I purchased some new wire/bead strings to add to my previous collection and plan no ornaments on this tree this year. I hope it looks elegant -- but if not, it is definitely 'me'.
