Merry Tuesday Christmas friends! Today is Admission Round One and I am as busy as an elf on Christmas eve. I have Friday off and am so looking forward to it. We were going to the SCA MidWinter, but not sure now. Hubby is a bit under the weather and I could just enjoy being home and preparing for Christmas. People always ask us what we get one another. The truth is we do not really do much Christmas gift giving. Perky is one that buys year round and gives when it arrives. I am not much of a shopper but my part of the budget is supplying him with clothes, etc. So he got a pair of jogger jeans which he is already wearing. He bought an air fryer for the house and we bought a feeder for the cats, both already being used. We would rather spend money on a christmas lunch cruise and the "boxing day" cruise we enjoy taking. Then of course, last year we did the big Santa Cruise. That was just so amazing. I'd like to go again in a few years.

Christmas is what we make it and Jolly if it works for you & Perky that is all that matters. Gifts from the heart are always welcome!

Funny I have had this question twice this morning as well. Today is our department "julbord" Christmas dinner. Gonna be a merry Christmas wednesday!

Today I worked a shift and a half to cover for sick employees. My sister is ill too. 4am comes early so off to bed just 5 minutes after arriving home. Blessings my Christmas friends.

Today is Sankta Lucia, St. Lucy's Day where girls (and now boys) wear white dresses and have very early concerts. There has not been one at the university for the past two years.........so I am watching the tv concert on tv play. Might go for coffee with my co worker later. Might pick up a "lucy cat" for hubby on the way home. 11 Days till Christmas!
