Today I worked a shift and a half to cover for sick employees. My sister is ill too. 4am comes early so off to bed just 5 minutes after arriving home. Blessings my Christmas friends.

Thanks my Christmas friend -- and Jolly's comments too - but it looks like it will be at least of week of being short staffed. Bronchitis, virus and pneumonia seem to be keeping a lot of people at home sick. I appreciate your Christmas cheer!

My Hubs delighted me with a wonderful early-Christmas surprise last night! As exhausted physically & mentally I was from work, I still needed to eat a small meal and relax in order to sleep. He had secretly purchased from Prime my favorite Hallmark Christmas movie!! "A Dog Named Christmas". I watched it for 1.5 hrs and it filled my heart with joy and sent me off to sleep with sweet dreams.

I was off for MidWinter, but we are not going. I am doing Christmas cleaning so we might either relax this weekend or go to an event at the local caslte.....more of a baronial house than what you see on tv as a "castle" but still fun. Nowdays they are more cultural centers and in the spirit of socialism "belong to the people". so it is "our castle" where there are various holiday celebrations. As usual much more than you ever wanted to know! I hope all my Christmas friends have a great day!
