It's sleeting hard here right now. Schools have dismissed early. Definitely feels like Christmas.

Yesterday was a wild weather roller coaster. It started off cold but dry. The first thing we got was sleet which started covering the ground. Then the sleet mixed with snow for awhile. Then the freezing rain moved in which quickly coated everything. Next came the thunder and lightening. We were under an ice storm warning until midnight then the temps climbed above freezing and we got a downpour the rest of the night that melted the ice and left us in a mud mess. I was really hoping the kids would get a snow day today but it didn't happen. Wonder why I woke up this morning with 'Holly, Jolly Christmas' playing in my head.
