Good morning all! I'm headed to the hospital for a myelogram in a few minutes.
I'm having more back issues.
But I'm thankful I have such a wonderful health care system that I can rely on.
Most in the world do not.
Maybe I'll be able to watch Christmas movies while I wait.

Well... Yesterday was no Christmas picnic. I'm fine now, but I gave everyone some excitement yesterday at the surgery center. When doctor put the needle in my back and made it into the spinal sac, I passed out and went into convulsions. The doctor was able to complete the procedure when I stopped shaking. After I woke up, they finished taking x-rays and sent me back to my room for recovery. I felt yucky all day. But... No headache Praise God! My stomach is still feeling a little wonky, but I think once I eat that too will return to normal. I don't like myelograms ha ha .

When I woke up yesterday I was feeling great. So I decided to go on a trip with some friends to a race 3 hours away from where we live. By the time we got there I felt terrible. I spent the first two hours of the race in the car sleeping. I had such a bad headache and upset stomach. After I woke up and started walking around I felt a little better. The headache lasted until 10:30 last night. This morning my headache is light and my stomach is still a little wonky but not too bad. I am doing nothing but lay around the house today and watch TV. Maybe even a few Christmas movies. I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday.

Christmas movies always make me feel better. Hope you got to watch some and they made you feel better too.

I just finished watching Its the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. I swear whenever I watch that or A Charlue Brown Christmas I feel just like I did when I was a kid.

Absolutely positively take it easy today and rest!! I hope you indulge in some fun Christmas movies, play with Daisy, and snuggle with Michelle. Oh, and when you can indulge a little some hot cocoa would be great too. Prayers continue my friend.

Yes. I feel the same way about Christmas when I watch with kiddos the stories of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Santa Claus is Coming to Town! We are perpetual children at Christmastime!!
