Our tradition was to decorate after Thanksgiving. Then when we moved to Georgia, that changed to decorating Thanksgiving day because we had no family here to celebrate with. Now that the kids are all out of the house and we go to Indiana for Thanksgiving, we decorate for Christmas in the middle of November. It works for us.
