More and more houses around town are decorated for Christmas.

Tonight I will be serving at our churches Women's Christmas Dinner. 250 women packed into the family life center. Should be a good time.

One of our local radio stations finally flipped over to all Christmas music. Well, maybe more like 60% Christmas music and 40% commercials.

Since we were traveling again this year for Thanksgiving, we didn't get to enjoy the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade or the smell of turkey roasting in the oven. So... we will be having a Thanksgiving dinner on Christmas day. Complete with the Thanksgiving Day Parade which I have on the DVR. This is going to make our Christmas a little brighter now that we have an empty nest for the first time in 27 years.

Dd is finished with all her assignments and has the option of taking semester tests early. Which means our Christmas break will actually start in less than 2 weeks.

We've had enough turkey to last us awhile. Dd prefers turkey over ham but I just don't feel like cooking another one for Christmas. I'm sure she can sweet talk her granny into cooking her one to go along with the big family feast she prepares for us.
