I've been pinning some ideas for a hot chocolate bar. Today I found some really nice holiday glass jars. They are canning jars but they have red snowflake tops. I have a recipe for Christmas Eve crockpot hot chocolate. I thought it would be nice to set the jars out with mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, and even peppermint sticks for stirring.

I was in town earlier and I saw a truck with a real Christmas tree in the back. It was net wrapped so I'm wondering if it came from a Christmas tree farm. Don't see that much anymore.

Merry Friday Christmas friends! I will try to be more Active as Christmas approaches. I got busy at work, then vacation in Texas, then returned with the flu….it has been one unpleasant Christmas surprise after Another. This week we will start the Deep christmas kitchen cleaning. I'd like to say we'd do all the apartment but let's be realistic. Last weekend, First Advent, we put out the "Swedish Essentials" of Candles, Electric Candles in the window, advent stars, etc. This week I hope to put up the 2 ft Texas tree in the kitchen. Due to aging cat issues, I am not sure we will put up the second Swedish tree as the table we used to put it on has had to be moved. will see what Perky Thinks. This cat is currently a year and a half past her expiration date, so who knows. At this rate she will outlive us……..Hope everyone has a very blessed Second Advent.

We watched a Charlie Brown Christmas last night. There were a few grumbles, mostly from the child who had to put her phone away long enough to watch it with us.

My child actually googled how long is A Charlie Brown Christmas so she would know how long she would be without her phone. And then she had to ask what kind of dog Snoopy was. Parent failure
