Yes it is a sad day for all Christmas lovers. I always have to work the day before & after Christmas.......but still the first full week post New Year's feels like the end of the winter holidays. I still have my outdoor decorations up: a snowman yard sign in a pot by my door and a golden wreath. I leave them until February for Valentine's Day.

When I went to work this morning my Christmas lights were shining brightly. I'm sure the kids across the street still appreciate them. They still have theirs up too.

I used my stud finder that I got for Christmas some time back to hang a Christmas present I received this year. A shadow box with my military memorabilia in it.

Driving home late from a ballgame last night we saw one house still fully decorated. If I'd done as much decorating as they did I'd leave my Christmas lights on too. It was really beautiful.
