QotM: Looking Forward To

Postby Mrs.Claus » Mon Sep 15, 2008 12:27 pm

What are you most looking forward to this Christmas? Why?

What are you least looking forward to this Christmas? Why?

(You don't have to say why, if you don't want to.)

Most looking forward to a few weeks off.
Why? Because I get to spend it with D and the boys

I can't wait...

Least looking forward to nothing
I love the season and the reason - I am thankful that I have a roof over my head and food in my belly and a wonderful family to spend the time with.

It is true, I seriously cannot think of a single reason that I am not looking forward to Christmas.

I also love
Decorating the house
Putting up the trees
Baking cakes and puddings for family and friends
Baking pies and cookies for us
Selecting gifts and wrapping them for under the tree
Writing Christmas cards (and receiving them)
Helping out at the local centre to dish up meals for those less fortunate.
Buying gifts for the little kids who's parents just cannot spare the funds for presents.

There are so many things I love about this time of year - the giving is the most heartwarming thing of all.

I am most looking forward to celebrating the birth of Christ in all its attendant glory.

I am least looking forward to my 1st Christmas without my Dad.

I always look forward to decorating and getting Seasonal treats in. We're going to be cash-poorer this year (at least thats how it looks right now), so I'm not looking forward to that. But its not going to spoil the Season for me at all! :jump:

I'm most looking forward to all the sights, sounds, and scents of Christmas.

I'm least looking forward to January - when everyone goes back to the same-old, same-old.

...off time with my wife. We enjoy being together! We dated for 8 years and will be married for 9 years this December. Life is best with the one you love!

I'm looking forward to a nice Thanksgiving dinner later today. Its just hubby and I so it will be lovely and intimate. The weather is almost Summer-like with mild temps and gorgeous sun. :peekleaves2:
