Today I will be doing regular housework, I always clean all through the house on Fridays.

But first I will be having coffee with a friend at my house and doing some catching up as I haven't seen her for a few weeks.

Yesterday was my daughter's birthday and she asked to go to Chuck E Chesse. Hubby came home from work early and we went. We had some coupons and it actually cost us what going out to Kelsey's or Applebee's would cost and we stayed until they closed and played a lot of games. It was a good time.

Today, as this past week, I have been caring for my Mom. Since the death of my Dad, her physcial/mental status has rapidly deteriorated. She is in pain 99% of the time, confused, disoriented, and grieving. My siblings don't think we'll have her at Christmas, but I cannot consider that at the moment. I am cherishing every moment I have with her now.

And I am so grateful for the prayerful support, Mrs. C. Today I stayed home from work because Mom felt a tiny bit better, and we had a lovely pajama day together! :smilecc:

What a great way to spend the day Noel .

I have been busy working again - it comes and goes in waves at the moment.

I have also been trying to keep up with the GP but have missed a bit - we have a long weekend this weekend and I am hoping to catch up.

I have also been wanting to get to Floriade to take some pics of the beautiful flower gardens that they plant out - the flower show finishes mid October. I have planned to go on the last few weekends but something else always comes up. Maybe this weekend.

Today I volunteered for the red-eye shift, came home and took Mom to the beauty salon for a cut, perm, style and manicure/pedicure & facial! She feels like a "new woman" and that brightens my heart!!! :gbhouse:

Glad to hear your mother is feeling a little better Noel.

Today (Monday 6th) is a lazy day - it is Labour day and just another public holiday here. Daylight saving started in the wee hours of Sunday morning, so we all slept in according to the clock.

This morning I put Seasol on all my roses out the front and the fruit trees out the back and I have done a little house work and thought I would catch up here and then go and relax and watch a Christmas movie or two.

Let's see...Today I...

1. Went to Jail
2. Went to the Landfill
3. Went to the Sheriff's Office

LOL - I work for my local Government in the IT department - Networking Services.
I hooked up some WiFi connections at the Jail, hooked up some network switches at the Landfill and patched in some data connections at the Sheriff's office.

Busy day!

LOL XmasDVD
Helped my three kiddies get ready and off to school. Watched a wee one all day. Got my three kiddies off bus and discussed their day, helped with homework. Then made dinner, ate dinner with DH and kids. Enjoyed family time. Now I am visiting here while at the same time listening to DH read to our three children a bedtime story . :bell1: :jump: :bell1:

Have been doing some ironong this morning which I hadn't managed to fit in during the week, I'm glad it's out of the way so that I can now look forward to next week. have also done some tidying and will be off to do some food shopping in a little while. When I get back I will make dinner and then hope to get out my Christmas Notebook and see how I'm getting on with my Christmas planning while watching the 'X Factor'.

Awoke with DH at 5:15. He had to work today.
All three kiddies as well as DS friend were up by 6am.
I have been entertaining, and feeding them.
Our children are early risers. They never sleep past 6:30.
I would like to sleep in, maybe when they are teenagers.

After a bit of a wobbly start to the day (hormones and all that), we got out for some grocery shopping. I have a nice turkey breast to do for Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. I've updated the blogs with Thanksgiving greetings. I have a nice glass of wine and a movie to watch this evening. :holly1:

I'm at the in-laws and am exhausted. We went apple picking today and had a great time. The weather was perfect!!! Then we went to visit some of my family and then came back to the in-laws for supper and to relax. Tomorrow we'll be having Thanksgiving dinner with hubby's dad's side of the family and then on Monday we'll be having it again, because hubby's mom bought a turkey too!! I love turkey so I don't mind at all!!! Yummy!!! :dinner: :cheer:

Today was about as perfect an Autumn day you can have in the desert! It was under 95F!!! There was a breeze so I took Mom for a 'walk' in her wheelchair. Delightful!

I fixed meatloaf, mashed potatoes and garden carrots for dinner with an apple-crumb muffin for dessert.

Then, we watched Sleeping Beauty extended edition, followed by Jim Shore's QVC show before bed! A great day! :peekleaves2:

Today I finally got my mop of hair cut. I look slightly less like a demented, middle-aged sheep dog now. That Becky (my hairdresser) is a whiz. God bless her little self.

Supper's on the stove. I'm keeping track of Kev's news as he's negotiating for a couple of new work contracts. We have one and it would be great to bag the other one too.

Gorgeous day out there again today. Mild and sunny.

I've had a lovely day today, although it didn't get off to a brilliant start (kids being awkward). Went shopping to our local shopping mall, had breakfast, bought a couple of Christmas gifts, did some research for a couple more and wandered around looking at some of the Christmas stuff which is out. Also went to the DIY store and bought some things which we need to continue with the converting of our old garage into a play room and a laundry room. I'm still hoping it will be done by Christmas. My daughter has gone seimming with one of her friends and I'm currently waiting for her to be dropped off. All in all a really nice day, (really must crack on with some chores tomorrow).
