Fall Color

Postby Stephanie » Sat Sep 13, 2008 8:23 am

For those who are going into autumn now, are you starting to see any color come in on the trees? The color is starting to show up now and it's exciting for me. I just LOVE the colors of fall.

I took some pictures about a month ago that shows some color coming in. I would love to see photos if you guys have them. I'll take more pictures once the fall foliage has peaked.

Beautiful red leaves...

You can see some color coming in on the tips of the leaves in this photo.

Oh, thanks Stephanie, for the pics! I miss autumn..........and winter..........so much! There is nothing more exhilerating than a brisk walk on an Autumn day when the breezes sway the colored leaves in a dance!]

I TOTALLY agree with you Noel! I go for more walks in the autumn than any other season. I'm so excited about autumn! Once the leaves show more color, I'll b sure to post more pictures for you. I'm hoping that others are able to share pictures as well. :D

Great photos Steph! You can see splotches of colour here and there. Usually up in the tops of trees around here. The horse chestnut tree is dropping its nuts now and there's late season berries out too.

Nothing happening here yet, but I'm sure it will soon. I'll see if I'll be able to get the camera to take some pics.

We are at the opposite end of the seasons - it is spring time here.

They are great pics - I love autumn (fall) it is my favourite time of year (next to Christmas).

We have a big spring flower show in Canberra each year and I am just waiting for it to be open to the public, so I can go and test my photography skills again.

My husband and I went to the same park again and I took some more photos. :peekleaves2:

There's a small patch on this tree:

You can't really see the leaves on this one, but I like the photo.

This one isn't fall foliage, but I like it so I'm throwing this one in too. We blew bubbles at the park today.

The trees are just starting to change colors here. It will still be a while before they all change. I just hope that the leaves stay on the trees for awhile. :cheer:
