Today is only supposed to reach somewhere in the low 50's, and we have a frost or freeze warning (can't remember which) for tonight. All the leaves are brilliant out there and most are falling fast.

There is definitely a chill in the air. A fairly heavy frost on the ground early this morning.
It will be gone shortly though because of bright sun shining down.

Haven't really got much frost yet - living in the city has some advantages - I can still have plants outside! :peekleaves2:

So I just checked the long range weather forecast for our area. Now I will keep in mind they have been wrong on more than a few occasions. However, for our area on October 29th and 30th they are predicting rain/snow. Yes, that's right our first possible chance for the lovely white stuff. :snowjump: :snowdance: :snowjump: :carolbells: :snowwow: :jump: :throw:
Sorry just a wee bit excited!!!!!!! :snowwow:

Oh, MM, the first snow is so wonderful!!! :peekleaves2:

Our long-range forecast shows temps down to 85F within the next 16 days. You can understand how I am hoping it will be cooler than that much sooner! Another 85F Thanksgiving is a disappointment for my family! :peekleaves2: :peekleaves2:

Forget the weather networks predictions. I just checked out the Farmers Almanac site and they are predicting a mix of snow/rain tomorrow night for our area. WOO!HOOT! :snowhouse:
I don't know if I will get much sleep though. I will keep getting out of bed to see if it changes to snow. LOL :snowwow:

No snow here, not yet anyway.
Less than an hour away they have had snow today. We have rain.
The temperature has dropped a little, if it drops just a few, tiny degrees more we will have snow.
Fingers are crossed!!

Temps in the 70's with lots of sunshine. Rain and cooler temps for the next few days. :muffs:

Freezing. It is supposed to be the middle of spring and it is so cold here it feels like winter again.

It is even snowing about an hour down the road.

Speaking of spring time, my iceberg roses are covered in tiny green flower buds, they are going to be just brilliant when they all open up.

Cool and wet here. We had thunderstorms and hail last night. It was pretty wicked out for awhile.
The old farmers almanac is predicting more rain and possibly mixing with snow at times over the next few days.
The weather network has no mention of snow for our area.
I will go with the almanac considering they were bang on with the thunderstorm prediction,as well as the flurries last week. The weather network didn't even mention the possibility of thunderstorms.
We shall see.I'm definitely rooting for the almanac. Bring on the snow!! :snowwow:

Well the farmers almanac has been predicting for days snow/rain for tomorrow and Wednesday. The weather network has got on board this evening and has issued a storm warning starting tomorrow. Strong winds and rain/snow. We may get a couple of inches of the white fluffy stuff if the temp. drops. Further east may see possibly up to a foot. WOW! :snowwow: :snowwow: :snowwow:

Rays - Phillies World Series game has been postponed due to bad weather.
Up there it's 35 degrees and raining with no letdown in sight for tomorrow - plus a chance of snow too! Brrrr
