Its quite mild and *gasp!*, the sun is out! Shhhhhhhhh! Don't tell anyone or they'll come take it back!

We may get double digit temps today too. If my poor nose is anything to go by (I've developed seasonal allergy since moving here. Never had it before. Go figure), Spring is not too far down the road on this side of the Pond. Bit early yet tho. Even for here.

Ha! You watch, tomorrow it'll be back to cold and sleety.

We had just a few flurries this morning. Right now the sun is out. I can see the gray returning soon though. It is suppose to start snowing overnight , then mix with rain and change back again. There go our nice dry roads. The snow is fine, just mixing with the rain makes it messy and not safe for driving.

Winter's Back!!! Just finished shovelling nice, wet, heavy snow. So glad it wasn't piled high like "they" said it would be. But there's always tomorrow.

Milder. Temps around 9C. No sun tho. But the weather service thinks its going to go colder again before February makes way for March. I'm noticing birdsong in the a.m. now. Which is nice. :holly1:

California is getting more rain, yeah!!!! We were way below normal but recently we have had days of rain. We (our city) is now at 91% normal for our rain total. We also expect to have four more days of rain starting on Sunday. I love the smell of fresh rain.

As for today, Friday 2/20, it will be about 68 F which for me, I need a light jacket. But for my kids they are fine with with out a jacket. In fact, they are fine with just a short sleeved t-shirt. Have a great day.

Saturday was gorgeous; warm and sunny. Its still mild, but the sun has done a disappearing act. I think England is well and truly on the way to Spring. It tends to arrive over here a month or so earlier than it does back home in Canada. :holly1:

Hot and dry. 36C the other day and they are predicting more of the same.

I don't mind the heat so much but if it would just rain a little it would be nice

March 2nd and it is officially autumn (fall), well it was yesterday on March 1.

I can't wait to see all the leaves start to change all the beautiful colours and start to fall in preparation for the trees winter sleep - such a beautiful time of year

We've been very fortunate this week to have mostly sunny days. Colder tho. Temps around 5C daytime, below freezing at night. But that makes for great maple sugaring weather! :holly1:

Definitely feels like Spring here now. The sharp edge the wind had is gone and night time temps are staying above freezing. Lots of early flowers in full bloom; crocus, tulips and daffs. Some of the trees are budding as well. Day time temps are slowly creeping into double digits. I felt confident enough this weekend to replace the flannelette sheets with percales, though I've not tucked the spare quilt away yet. :holly1:
