I hear you Merry! Nothing beats a good steak or roast for dinner.
Unfortunately it was spaghetti for us earlier. We ate at 4:00 because DS had to be at hockey before 6:00.

Grocery shopping night, so it'll be McDonalds or some other fast food. I will be attempting to make a good grocery list, so that I don't have to call hubby everyday and tell him to pick up more things on the way home.

Last night I did grocery shopping on the way home, so the pantry/refrigerator are totally packed. So what did I eat? A cheese sandwich! Why? It's easy and I cant wait to fall in bed! :dinner:

I miss North American style Chinese takeout. Its quite different here. Not worse or anything, just different.

Anywho, I did a couple of small steaks with fries for Valentine's Day supper on Saturday. We had a nice bottle of rose vino with it.

Fish last night. Kev wants curry tonight, which I'll make for him, but I can't abide Indian food. There's some chicken and pasta soup in the fridge leftover so I think I'll have that.

Today is Friday so that means Family Dinner Night at my mother-in-laws. No cooking for me, yeah!!! I used to love cooking but because I have a picky, and I mean picky, son it is hard to cook a meal that everyone enjoys. I still rather bake.

Let me see, we've had fish in some form the past two nights. Take out on Friday night. Not sure what I'm making tonight. Freezer is getting low again.

We had a lovely meal out on Sunday. Its rare we go out to eat, but the SIL and her husband wanted to take us as a thank you for pet sitting for them last week.

I got some leftovers used up last night. I think tonight I might make a pasta dish.
