Patriotic Holidays

I know both the US and Canada have some patriotic holidays coming up (Independence Day and Canada Day). Anyone have any special plans for that day? Byron and I are proboably going to go swimming and catch the fireworks display in our community.

This 4th of July will be a quiet memorial for my father's birthday - July 1. Last year I admitted him to the ER on his birthday.........so we will have a picnic, and see fireworks, but it will be just the family. Still, we have core patriotic hearts and are grateful to live in a free land!
