I love your 4th of July sig Noel.

I think we're all looking for a little Christmas excitement right now. :scene:

We're finally getting a little break from this intense heat as the temps have cooled down slightly. I was really hoping for a little rain but we didn't get any. I have a very busy week ahead getting ready for the 4th and dd's bday party.

July 4th and 2-year old's birthday partys are almost as fun as Christmas! :smilecc:

I'm glad that you enjoyed it Noel. I watched it several times too. Her face is just so expressive. You can tell she's just filled with Christmas Joy. :holly1:

We had a couple of pop-up showers today that blessed us with over an inch and a half of rain. I'm so glad because our yard was so dry it was already crunchy.

I went shopping and picked up the last of dd's b-day gifts. I also found the sweetest little cuddle toy for my nephew's baby that's due in November. I'll be saving it for the baby's first Christmas gift from us. :angelsnow:

Well, it won't feel like Christmas weather in this desert valley -- with a 11 yr draught and economic crisis, rates are skyrocketing! They are limiting use of water and elictricity. You must keep your temperature 80=82F!!

Christmasy weather is only a dream now. :snowwow: :snowwow: :snowwow:

Well, going to go the the store today to get everything for the 4th,, with a cookout on the third and my wife's family reunion on the fourth we will be fixing a lot of food over the next couple of days.

The only positive for me is after the fourth is when I usually start getting heavy with all my Christmas details, from presents to even looking at how I am going to decorate my house, inside and out, so my "preseason" as my wife likes to call it starts in a few days. :smilecc:

I don't have any real plans for celebrating Christmas in July. I think I'll just watch some Christmas shows and work on my Holiday scrapbook pages. :rudolph1:

I did get the JCPenney Fall/Winter catalog in the mail today. So now it won't be long before the Christmas book is out. I'm so excited. :santadance:

I checked the TV Listings and I saw that QVC will be doing Christmas in July on July 25th and July 26 since it falls on the weekend. I've never bought anything, but I always watch b/c I like to see what's new and they also play Christmas music.

Today I have been super busy getting ready for dd's b-day party tomorrow. We're having a party, cook-out, and fireworks display for our family and friends. I love the 4th of July. It's so much fun. And besides Christmas, it's our biggest gathering for family and friends. :smilecc:

Our 4th of July weekend has been very busy. Friday nite was dd's b-day party. About 40 people showed up and everyone had a great time. With all the presents and torn gift wrap everywhere my house looked just like Christmas morning. :shop:

The last 2 days we've spent at the lake fishing, swimming, and boating. We've had so much fun but I'm totally exhausted. Now I need a vacation to rest from the vacation. :smilecc: 8-)

After the long holiday weekend I'm having a hard time getting back into the normal routine. I have a very long to-do list for today.

This morning it was very cool outside. It reminded me of Fall. Almost all the stores here have their summer stuff on clearance to make room for the Fall items. Once July 4th is over time really flies toward Christmas. :scene:
