Only 20 more days till it starts. I'll keep you posted as to how I'm doing. I'll be looking at my notebook later today to see what I need to update and what sheets I need to print off.

I'm thinking about jump starting mine this weekend as well, just a lot of things to get done and I figure if I make it a goal to get it down for the sake of Christmas then I will probably do the work with a smile.

It starts tomorrow - I spent ages last night getting my binder together ready for this week.

I have lots of lists to make:
Menu's to plan
Grocery Shopping lists
Gift ideas list
House maintenance list for each room, each week of the plan
Christmas card list (I have some left over from last year, so I am going to get a some done early).

Wow there is so much to do.

We are decorating in November this year so we can turn the outside lights on by the 1st of December - I can't wait.

I have done my Christmas card list for CAY and will add to it as I get more information

I have done my personal Christmas card list

I have done a list for my clients (I don't send to all clients)...

I have made a list of presents in the Christmas cupboard

I have made a list of gift ideas for those I want to buy for

I have made a list of baking presents that need to be made - starting with the christmas cakes and puddings that get started in October. As well as fudges, cookies etc.

I have been through the house and made a maintenance list for each room and what I want to accomplish before Christmas - this is pretty big and I don't think it will all get done but at least I have an idea of what I want to do.

I have made my gift list, my card list, my baking list, a renovations list (small things), decorations list, and a menus for Christmas and Thanksgiving.

I have also made a tentative plan for the lighting scheme for the front yard. We do not have a porch.

I am really trying to stick with the HGP because this year we are having Christmas at my house with the in-laws. My husband has 7 brothers and sisters and tons of nieces and nephews.

:singing:

I am not religiously following this grand plan...however, I am planning my x-mas way ahead of time. I have already started x-mas shopping and have a little stash of gifts packed up in my room..all wrapped up and ready for x-mas morning! :gbhouse:

I have also started making lists for gifts...I have never been so excited and eager for the holidays to come! :scene:
